Core Beliefs

The Bible

We believe that the sixty-six books of the Bible are the inspired Word of God in the original writings and that it is without error.

The Trinity

We believe in the Trinity of the Godhead; there is one God eternally existing in three equal but separate persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God the Son

We believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, was born of a virgin and atoned for the sins of the world by His death, burial, and bodily resurrection.

God the Holy Spirit

We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit. In His present ministry He convicts, regenerates, baptizes, indwells, seals, and fills the yielded believer. We believe that the filling of the Spirit is manifested in the fruits of the Spirit not in any specific spiritual gift.

Creation

We believe in the direct creation by God in six literal days, of the heavens and earth and all that is in them, without the process of evolution.

Mankind and Salvation

We believe that all men are sinners by nature and under the condemnation of God. The only remedy for this condition is salvation through faith in the death of Jesus Christ as payment for one’s sins.

Human Sexuality and Marriage

We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that the only legitimate marriage is that between one man and one woman.

The Local Church

We believe that the local church is a body of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized by immersion after a public profession of faith. The church exists for corporate worship, for evangelizing the lost, and for the building up of its members.

Death and Eternity

We believe that the souls of believers in Christ pass into His presence at death and remain in heaven until the resurrection of the body at the rapture when soul and body are reunited to be with Christ forever. The souls of unbelievers remain after death in conscious misery until the final resurrection. At this judgment they will be cast into the lake of fire forever.

End Time Events

We believe in personal return of Christ for His church prior to the seven year tribulation and His return to earth at the close of the tribulation to establish His millennial Kingdom.
